Meet Mici! *updated*

The many faces of Mici
Meet my 2 year old adorable dog MICI (spoken like mici in "Amici").

Mici is a Lhasa Apso, you don't really see or hear about this breed much, so I'd like to introduce to you the Lhasa.

Put put nose trick!
This breed looks like a big shitzu with a longer snout. According to Wikipedia - "The Lhasa Apso is a non-sporting dog breed originating in Tibet, bred by Buddhist monasteries to alert the monks of any intruders who entered." They are loyal to their owners while they may be aggressive to strangers if not properly trained. They are an independent breed that are good companion dogs. Despite their appearance they are tough and bold to boot. They can handle rough housing and they leap and bound from couch to floor to wall with ease and dexterity. It is an indoor dog good for apartments as they don't need so much space for excercise, but they do need it.

Mici's personality can be a bit cheeky, sneaky, and stubborn. But she is also smart and adorable, even though paper training is still not working on her - we still love her!

I would choose this breed over any other. How about you? What breed do you prefer?

*update - April 2013*

Mici is now a mommy! On Feb 1, 2013, mici gave birth to 7 adorable puppies!

Les Poopies!

These 7, now 6, adorable puppies need loving families and caring homes to call their own. Contact me at 09274412879 for inquiries. :D
